Meet the Pint Family Chiropractic Team

Julie Straka
Julie

I started working at Pint Chiropractic in June, 2005. I had been to a chiropractor a couple of times, but did not truly understand what they did until I started working here. This is an unbelievably amazing profession and that is proven to me on a daily basis. I am privileged to be able to say that I am a part of helping to improve the quality of our patients lives. Words can’t explain what our bodies can do if given a chance. The best way to see that is to experience it for yourself! I even gets my dogs adjusted regularly now. Thanks for taking the time to look us up and I look forward to meeting you! See you soon!

Dr. Scott Asks some important questions of interest to Plum Boro residents - Chiropractor Plum Boro Dr. Scott Asks...

Where do most Plum Boro residents get their first subluxation?
Being born in a hospital is a common source of subluxation. Trauma from forceps delivery has been replaced with drugs, vacuum extraction, Cesarean section and births that are "scheduled" to fit the workweek routines of Ob-Gyns. That's why we recommend a chiropractic checkup for every Plum Boro newborn.
What's the difference between a "good" drug and a "bad" drug?
As a chiropractor, I see the use of many drugs (legal or illegal) as merely symptom treating. Worse, virtually every drug produces unwanted effects. The effects of chiropractic are largely positive effects. If you're a Plum Boro parent, consider carefully before giving your child a cough medication, cold remedy or pain reliever so this sort of question doesn't arise in the first place.
